New firmware released with support for 40/48 inputs and a few improvements.
I've updated the schematic of the Digital board for future use with 40/48/56 inputs.
I've added the 'Where to buy ' section to the website with the information on where you can buy inexpensive MegaDrum kits with professionally made PCBs and parts.
I just made avalable a test version of the MegaDrum firmware with support for 40/48 inputs. Read mor in the forum.
The MegaDrum website has been re-designed. Hopefully it will allow me to update it more easily and keep it up-to-date. For now some sections, e.g. Documentation and FAQ, are blank but it'll change shortly and you still can access the old website at www.megadrum.info/old_site.
Elrules has released a multiplatform MegaDrum Config Tool. You can now control MegaDrum settings from Windows, Linux or Mac OS X. See http://www.megadrum.info/configtool/ for details.
Released a new firmware which adds support for 3 zone Yamaha style
cymbals. Support for 6 zone Alesis style cymbals is on its way.
I'm working on a support for 3 zone Yamaha style
cymbals. For those who don't know these cymbals use only one
input rather than Roland style 3 zone cymbals which require 2 inputs to
be used. Watch this forum thread for updates.
I'm putting for an auction a complete MegaDrum 32
module in a rack mountable case to recover some development expenses.
See details here.
A lot of things has changed. I added support for
rotary encoders as an alternative to keys. Added support for quick drum
maps switching (for live performances?). Got rid of an LCD contrast
pot, contrast is now controlled by MegaDrum itself. I switched from
DipTrace to KiCad for schematics and PCBs design. All schematics have
been updated. Some other things I don't remember right now.
