Is that a bix then or have you made your own?

DIY of course I emptied out the felt and stuck in a piezo, then covered it with a couple of layers of poron. They're about a year old now and still work fine. It's good to be able to control each trigger separately and you can also assign different sounds or pitch each kick drum differently.

It seem that it's a very clever idea ! We own e-drums after all, why thinking like we have a-drums ? We're free to do things like you've done

I didn't invent this method (Triggera didn't either) - another DIYer posted some pics of his a few years ago and I thought it was a cool idea. When I had to redo my kick I thought I'd give it a try and it works really well.

The beaters are by Sonor and they have exactly the right diameter for a 27 mm piezo; YMMV with beaters by other brands. I removed the felt, which leaves a cavity, drilled a hole at the bottom edge for the wires to pass through and stuck in a piezo with rubber under the outer rim. Then I added a couple of layers of 5 mm medium-density poron on top and that's it. I thought the piezo might easily get damaged but they've been going for over a year now and still work fine. I use RCAs in all my pads so they each have their own RCA jack going to a TRS->RCA cable.

I just almost finished my MegaDrum Module. I´m transforming my sons "analog" drumkit to an electronic one and wanted to make everything as perfect as I could get it for cheap. So I bought the new module from Dmitri and it arrived this week. I grabbed my dull tablesaw and some files and stuff from Aliexpress and built this:

But now I have a problem. Professional idiot as I am I needed to remove the plugs from the mainboard and forgot the coding, so to speak can´t remember which color is on pin 1 for the encoder board and the display board. I thought I did make a picture of it but it got lost somehow and I´m not so good in reading the layout from the manual.
Can anybody solve this mistery for me and send a PM about where to plug the three cables (blue/white (8 pins) on first/last on the display and brown/green (5 pins) and white/purple (3pins) on first/last on the encoder board)? I´m lost and dare not to plug the module on power before this is sorted.

Thank you Dmitri, I did some reading and used the multimeter to find out the vcc/gnd side and how the encoders work (gnd in the middle) so it works now!
