The "Post tracks you've made with MegaDrum" Thread!

Well, I figured since there isn't one already, I may as well start a thread for people to post tracks that they've made with MegaDrum. Please, let's not make this a "who's drumming is better" competition, it certainly isn't in my favor to do so and I don't think cock waving does anyone any good on this forum anyways.

If you'd like to add what hardware, software and tools you use to produce the track, that would be great.

I think a thread like this is important to show newcomers that MegaDrum can be suitable for both amateur and fledgling professional recording alike as I've seen a few people question just how well MegaDrum is supposed or can work when they are just looking at MegaDrum or they already built it and don't get the results they want right away. This can be where people get an idea of what MegaDrum can do under the right conditions.

So, let's start out! I got the blessing of my friend who dumps way more time, money and creativity into our project, to post a track. Sure, there are errors. Yes, it's not perfect. No, it's not done. We're working on it!

Since I can't attach a 6.9MB file, here is a link to where you can download the sample track: http://chilcoproject.techslaves.org/Hallmark.mp3

If you need a place to host them, look at my music upload site. www.italentshare.com . I started it a while back and it's never really taken off. I will have to look, but I think you can upload up to a 5 meg mp3. Just register, set up a profile and start uploading. It must be original content though.

Cool! Nice work, Ken.

Here's another one: http://chilcoproject.techslaves.org/ClubMed.mp3

It's silly and fun.

Another silly fun song:

http://chilcoproject.techslaves.org/NewfieHolocaust.mp3

It's big, 14MB at 6:10 length. This one is much more "heavy".

I'm not certain anyone but Canadians will get it, but I'm posting it anyways.

Yeah, this would be very interesting...

Why is nobody posting that? (And fuzzy, you also didn't post it...)

Perhaps this isn't the best thread for it?

Here goes anyways:

Apple MacBook Pro
Apple Logic Express 8
FXpansion BFD 1.5 w/ BDF XL
Digidesigns Digi002
Motormix Control Surface
Behringer 4-way Headphone Amp
Hart Dynamics Studio Master 6.4 eDrums
2-channel Rack Compressor
Line 6 PODxt Live
Mesa Boogie IIB w/ Groove Tubes Speaker Emulator
SansAmp Bass Driver DI
Samson Control Box
Warwick Corvette Taranis Bass
Various Mics and Guitars
and of course MegaDrum (for which I still need to upgrade the FW to make use of new features and fixes!)

And the above tracks were recorded, mixed and bounced down in my neighbor's apartment.

Another quick track recorded about a week ago or so. This is just a flat out jam session (2 guitars, 1 bass and myself on drums), no composition involved just people going with the flow. It's full of errors, tom foolery and it just falls apart.... but the MegaDrum is doing it's thing and that's this thread is about!

Sniff the riff. The rhythm guitar offbeat juxtaposed with the bass on the beat.
For me, sharing means leaving a simple bass drum rhythm and syncopation only with high end kit bits.

But if in doubt, drum and bass are the backline 98% of the time and the lead loves you forever :|
