Basic MIDI trigger software

Postby jago25_98 » Wed Apr 09, 2014 12:21 pm

I have shared use of an Alesis DB9 drumkit here while I'm away from home. It's pretty knackered and worn out but it has MIDI trigger capability I'd like to test.

There are quite a few expensive sampled solutions for triggering out there but I was wondering if there's some free/opensource, maybe even for linux that has worked well for you?

Not as realistic sounding as commercial VSTs but it's pretty good for open source; it's what I used before moving on to VSTs. It's available for windows/mac/linux but I think the latest and most reliable version only runs on linux.
If it ain't broken... fix it until it is.
