That’s what I was hoping for...

Allan, the editor of digitalDrummer has an old AtMega box which he got through trading with somebody else. I have for long time been lobbying for Allan to give the MD a real go. Last Christmas weekend, Allan spent like 4-5 days trying to get his box up and running. But this device was in a terrible shape (It was a DIY box- not created by Dmitri) ...where we had to repair it, search for errors, solder inputs...update firmware...old version of AD, configure the MD to work with AD and then about 40 mails later we finally had a device which was working...Allan had to give up because of time...but I am guessing he saw the potential in MD but also realized the downside with the complexity to configuring it.

Anyway - I have got a great thanks for this session! Please see: http://vdrums.com/forum/showthread.php?67804-MegaDrum-Compatibility-Gear-Thread-DIY-Mods-and-Brand-Name-Pads-and-Links&p=603941#post603941

I am still hoping for a nice review in digitalDrummer...but I think the forum need to raise some money and send completely configured box of the ARM-based version to Allan for making this happen! :-)

Best Regards

Thanks fellas! It was nice Allan contacted me in the making of this kit, he found it would fit the article nicely!! I too hope he can find it in his heart to give MegaDrum a decent spread in his magazine, it surely deserves it! I'll never use anything else. ;)
