Anything at least distantly related to MegaDrum

This same snare works on tom2, although it`s hotter.
The tom pad connected to snare input gives that same strange values (only 11 on PS2, 0 on PS1, ...).

Something must have happened to the snare input then when you connected the ribbon cable in reverse in the beginning.

OK, I think I figured out what was actually the problem.
Snare settings.
I moved the tom2 to snare input (4) and move its settings there as well. And it works.
So, the input 4 PS works as well.
The most different values between toms and snare are threshold and dyn values. So, I`m suspecting the problem is there.
I suspected that from the very beginning, as you may remember, but I was reluctant to change them as I had great triggering ...
I`ll report the results.

I think I've fixed it in the latest version (20130322).

Speaking of firmware ...
dmitri, is it possible to add a feature which enables you to see which config is currently loaded?

It may be useful indeed. I will add a screen which shows last loaded/saved config - it might be not a current config since it might have been modified via menu or via SysEx.

Yep, very useful. Especially if you have lots of configs and/or change them often.
Or if you save a config, but MD for some reason won't load it on power up. And you don`t know if it loaded that one or some other.

Hi!

Interesting idea. Should the MD panel include some kind of revision version field + the date?

Today...as a MD/MDM user, you are responsible to keep track of all changes...and remember what you have done on the journey to reach optimal triggering.
A version field could be useful to help the user! (also that MDM actually logs all sysex changes in a text file)

Was this what you are thinking of?

A screen which shows the currently loaded config# - that`s pretty much it.
But last saved date of a config could be also useful, I guess ...
