One off limited Christmas/New Year offer

Postby dmitri » Thu Dec 24, 2009 5:30 pm

I have three complete MegaDrum modules for sale. These modules were not built by me but were given to me as a contribution to the MegaDrum project.
Until 8th of January I will offer these modules for £135 (British pounds) each plus delivery.
If any left after 8th of January, which I doubt very much, I will offer these modules for £145 (British pounds) each plus delivery.
Delivery in the UK - £10, to EU - £15, to US/Canada - £20

A few notes about these modules:
1. They are Atmega32 based at 16MHz.
2. LCD contrast can only be adjusted by a potentiometer inside the module. So if you need to adjust it you will need to take the module apart. Don't worry, the contrast has been already set to the best level.
3. For navigating menus it has only buttons but no rotary encoders as in modules I built myself.

Here are some the pictures:

I might be interested, a couple of questions though:

What does it mean in practice that it uses atm32/16mhz crystal as opposed to newer/faster? Does it run on different firmware than the newer versions, are there missing features, performance issues?

The inputs are all stereo (except kick and hh-control), meaning I can run one dual-zone or two single zone pads on them?

How much will it cost to ship it to Norway?

There is no practical difference between Atmega32 at 16MHz and Atmega644 at 20MHz - functionality and performance are still the same. The only noticeable difference is that Atmega has slightly less slots for saving configs/drum maps - Atmega32 has 2 slots for configs and 4 for drum maps.

Correct. You can even use 3 zone Yamaha/Roland cymbals.

£15

When these 3 modules are gone I will let everyone know. Once they're gone I will only be able to build modules on requests for £150 as seen in viewtopic.php?f=3&t=745
