I have buit the main circuit board w/ lcd and i am finishing up the buttons. Can anyone tell me the best way to figure if the darn thing works?

I am looking for a good and free software to use just for testing. Any suggestions. I built one simple trigger for testing. I brough it to GC and tried it on a Vdrum set and it worked great.

Any help would be great.

You could use MIDI-OX to capture the MIDI from the Megadrum... but that won't really give you an idea of "playability" just if Megadrum is sending MIDI or not. You'd need some kind of sampler for that.

Check out Hydrogen - it's free and the sounds it comes with are pretty good.
