You mentioned you were seeing the hits in MDM? Where were you seeing hits?

In the MIDI log in MGM. It's showing the hits, but not showing any of the pad info when a pad is hit

Alright, if you're getting midi log info when you hit a pad, you're obviously connected to MDM. If TriggeredInCC is active, you will see the Pad Input Name change as you hit different pads, see photo below. TriggeredInCC can also be selected in the left most column in MDM, under Misc settings.

See if the name is changing when you hit a pad. If it is, everything is working. Then, make your pad settings changes, the reconfigured perimeter will change to red and press send, this will send to MegaDrum.

To make a change you must press send. That goes for any adjustment in MDM. If any perimeters are blue or red, you haven't connected to MDM properly, MD and MDM are not syncing correctly.

Ahhh believe I have it figured out now. I had to select get all before the TriggeredInCC would change the pad information.

Yes, you'll always want to press Get All when you first open MDM, as it will pull all the settings currently configured in MD and import that into MDM. It's good practice to also send to Slot 1 (or whichever you prefer) so that you're backing up your work globally, from time to time. You can also Save All and have a backup file on your computer.

Since I'm triggering in another program and just using MDM to set note values, I should only have to adjust things once and then be set going forward, right? Or will I need to open MGM every time, pull the settings through, and then close it to be able to trigger Invasion Drums?

MDM gives you a friendly graphical interface to configure MD. Once you set things the way you want, and Send to MD, you don't need to open it again, unless you want to make changes. MD should turn on with your last configuration, and will communicate with your program every time.

Awesome. Thank you so much for the help. Now I just need to lurk on the forums to get the hi-hat pedal to work and I'll be set

I'm not sure. Whatever pedal came with my Alesis DM10. So... an Alesis pedal? Not wireless, because it's wired. But there's no hi-hat stand and no moving hi-hat. Just a single pad and a super cheap pedal.
