Mesh head double triggering 2

I'm having a terrible time adjusting my Megadrum settings.
Toms are working fine, snare is the problem.
I can't find the correct setting to supress double triggering. If I supress a lot, I can play heavy metal but I can't do open rolls (press rolls are more impossible). If I change the settings, I can play open rolls but it produces double triggering when playng heavy metal (single heavy notes)
I have a 14 inch mesh snare (wood, acoustic conversion), center trigger with cone foam, cone heght 1mm above wood border (like v-drum tips video on YouTube), 2ply mesh head.
I already tighten my mesh head, and already followed dmitri suggestion on how to best configure mesh pads (that old topic in "useful tips for configuring megadrum" link)
Can someone help?

The setting in the megadrum can only do so much. I would guess the drum has a mechanical flaw in its construction.
Usually something loose or something flexing or resonating when you hit the drum. DIY can be a bitch sometimes but its worth tracking the issue down. Pics of the snare with the heads off top and bottom will help us diagnose.
