How do I setup midi thru? TD-7 to MD

I have the midi out from my Roland TD-7 going into the Midi In on the MD.
I have Midi Thru checked under MISC.

When I connect the midi cable to the Midi In on MD my trigger light stays solid red and I don't get any midi data, not from the drums connected to MD or the TD-7.
I also tried enabling Midi Thru in the Options menu, still nothing.
I couldn't find any documentation on how to set this up.

What are you trying to achieve?

Constant MIDI LED on is probably from TD-7 sending MIDI sense a the time. MegaDrum will not pass it through.
Do I understan it right that before connecting TD-7 to MegaDrum, pads connected to MegaDrum send MIDI when hit but stop doing this after TD-7 is connected?

I'm gonna use the TD-7 for all my Roland PD pads, and use MD for all my DIY triggers. I'm just not getting the same response on the PD-8 pads on MD as I do through the Roland Module.

as soon as I disconnect the TD-7 from MD the pads plugged directly into MD will trigger the light when struck and send the midi information to Superior Drummer. Once the midi cable is connected to the Midi in on MD I get no triggering from Either MD or Roland.

I can only suspect one thing - TD-7 is constantly sending some sysex messages. When MegaDrum receives any Sysex message it temporarily stops prceccins any ADC signals. This is done to make sure that if a Sysex message is for MegaDrum, MegaDrum can process it without interruption.

Would the midi monitor show any of this activity?

I think it's the same issue: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3428&start=10#p34662

I suppose there's a bug in checking the condition, so not only Sysex messages, but all messages sent to MIDI IN prevent MegaDrum from processing these signals.

The ast time I tested it, I could not reproduce it with regular MIDI messages (not Sysex). I will double check it again.
