Im stuck!

Postby porky » Sat May 13, 2017 8:11 am

I don't know how to continue from here.

My drums need super hard hitting to trigger.

Threshold: 30
Gain: 9
Latency: 5
Min scan: 10

Save config 5

I can't drum roll at all :(

I use a 682 Drums dual trigger.

Any solutions to this? Thanks

Please give more details about what you mean by "super hard hitting" and "can't drum roll at all". Post MDM screenshot of the pads settings and describe the problem in more details.

What i meant by super hard hitting is that i'll have to hit the drum pad very hard in order to get drum sounds. The velocity curve works, there is a velocity to the sound. But for the drums to produce any sound at all, I need to hit very hard to begin with

Swap the curve back to linear and drop the level shift to 0. Untick Hi level and press send.
Hit the drum a fee times and take a screen shot of them. Post it here and a team of experts will analyse the data.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

1. You have to mount triggers properly so that they produce enough signal with light hits. I guess this is the main cause of your problem.
2. To raise sensitivity you have to lower Threshold.

I don't make pads myself so I cannot comment on this.
