The new MDM version is better at detecting Sysex errors/timeouts. You probably had these errors with old MDM but MDM just did not report them.
If you're getting errors/timeouts, I'd want to fix it. Can you advise me exact steps to reproduce errors you get? I tested it myself extensively and I had errors only if I intentionally disconnected MegaDrum to test errors detection.

I managed to reproduce the problem with STM32F103 based MegaDrum and just published new firmware and MDM versions which should fix the problem.

I am on Windows as well. MDM version 20170511 works fine with my STM based Megadrums. But with my Atmega644 based Megadrum I get the error "Get Positional Sysex Timeout" when pressing either the global GetAll button, the GetAll button in the Pads section or the Get button on any pad. The Get buttons in the Misc and HiHat sections are OK. In the options I have set the timeout to 100ms.

I'll check it with Atmega.

I just published a new MDM version (20170517) which fixes this and a couple of other bugs.

It looks like the MDM 20170517 is solid as a rock. Running on a Surface Pro 3, i7, Java 64 bits, V131, Windows 10 (First edition)
