great stuff, but i have a few things to report/suggest.

works good on xp but on 2000 the combos dont open or open to show 1 item with a squashed up/dn button.

needs to save midi or com port sellection.

only shows 1 megadrum configuration not all 4.

should have and indicator to show its doing something when you click get, save, ect.

control groups need to be put in order of channel, i found it very confusing.
1 - kick
2 - hh b
3 - hh e
.
.
20 - aux2 h
21 - aux r
pedal

This is a beta version. It's currently only tested in XP versions of windows. It may even require SP2. If Windows 2000 does not have SP2, it "may" be the source of incompatability. I have stepped away from using Microsoft Foundation Classes in my programs and have moved to a cross platform resolution for full compatability for ALL versions of Windows and other operating systems such as Mac OSX and Linux. Hence, MegaDrum32 Controller 1.1b will NOT be continued in it's current format, but rewritten in any future versions. No estimated date on the NEW version as of yet. I am currently taking a much needed break away from programming, and will return soon. :) All suggestions and ideas are still saved for the future.

Happy Holidays :)

I think it's time we start working on this again. Dimitri, what's the status of version 1.1b? does it still works. Where do we go from here to building an ALL-IN-ONE megadrum controller for all megadrum units? I will be making a Cross Plaform version this time ;)

Not any more since around winter, too many features have been added.

Where do we go from here to building an ALL-IN-ONE megadrum controller for all megadrum units?

The latest info about SySex format is still in the same place - http://www.megadrum.info/menu_layout.pdf

I will be making a Cross Plaform version this time ;)

Good!

Yes, eventually i would like to build a 32 channel. Just really short on time. Been doing alot of coding recently though. So I'll be ready to get a new MegaDrum Controll out soon :)
