Nice!
But where the hell is LCD?! Oh, I know, I know, this MegaDrum is controlled from a PC and doesn't need it!:)

Hey Synthex, thanks for asking how I find the module. Actually I'm posting to let everyone know what I think about it.

Now that I connected it to my diy pads, I find that the signals are not as good as my TD12. What I mean is I can't even do snare rolls as good as my td12. I even tried my previously built e-drum (by admir) and used the sounds of my td12 and the sound is almost the same as my td12. With the megadrum connected to my pc running the sounds of dfhs under protools, I also cant get good articulation. But my td12 gives good articulation and also the e-drum.

Could it be that I just need to tweak the settings? I've tried tweaking the settings but I still can't get good results.

Another problem I'm having is I can't set the gain higher than 2. If I try that, the unit will send machine gun triggers.

Dmitri/Synthex/anyone please help. I know the megadrum is better than what I'm experiencing and I'm not just ready to give up. :)

Here's a screen shot of the megadrum controller with my settings.

The thing that on all inputs you used, Max Level was 'auto set' as 997 is alerting. You should be able to set 'gain' all the way up to the maximum 8. Even the default is 4! Something is not right with your MegaDrum. As a first step I would check values of R17-R20 resistors.
As a second step I would disconnect R19,R20 altogether thus forcing 'gain' to 4 regardless of settings in the configuration. Without R19,R20 you should see a voltage close 2.5V on pin 32 on Atmega32.

Aha! I think I see the problem now. From the first diptrace schematic I downloaded, the R19 and R20 resistor values are reversed compared to the png version displayed on the schematics portion of the site. I will compare the other components to see if there are other discrepancies.

I will try your suggestions again and report back my results. Thanks!

Edit: Also found that R9-R16 was changed from 6k8 to 4k7. Should I follow that or can I leave them at 6k8?
