2. MIDI LED now comes on on incoming MIDI messages.
Does megadrum LED blinks also with sysex messages received? That would be very good for my testings in the Mac OS

Hey dmitri, I just installed the latest firmware ver 20090927 and noticed that I had to adjust my edge threshold level for my yamaha pcy135's and my pcy155 down to 43 to get aftertouch messages. Is this a result of the improved firmware, I keep getting the odd bow note with my threshold set to 43 and my gain at 4 and can't get anything lower than 1/2 velocity out of the edge without triggering the bow. I haven't tested the inputspriority but I'll let you know how this works when I get around to that.

I've tested it with both PCY135s and Pintech cymbals. I haven't noticed any problems with edge triggering compared to the August firmware version, even with InputsPriority set to Yes. Is anybody else having the problem?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that before the update I had my threshold levels at 50 for my pcy135 and 53 for my pcy155, when I updated to this latest version and load my old configs up it was no longer sending aftertouch messages from any of my yamaha cymbals but my pintech and roland cymbals were still sending aftertouch. As far as the bow note being triggered, it's not a problem I just had to reconfigure a few things. Dmitri, would it be possible to get a .syx of your current configurations? Thanks. :)

I don't have any standard configuration because of the constant development I shuffle my kit( which is still the original 22 inputs MegaDrum board) a lot. For the PCY135 I set Edge Threshold to 37-39 and BThreshold to 18-20 and it works fine although, as I mentioned it elsewhere, the bell switch is pretty tough so I have to hit it quite hard to get the bell triggered rather than the bow. No such problem with the edge switch.
Thresholds may differ between boards with 4051s MUXers/BAT85s and with 74hc481 MUXers. The precision of the resistors which create reference voltage for ADC will produce some difference in Threshold levels between different boards as well.

I see, I have my bell configured at threshold 30 right now so maybe lowering to 20 and lowering the edge threshold to 37-39 and see if that makes a differance. At a threshold of 30 on the bell I get very accurate bell triggering but my edge required more force at threshold 43. How do I get my saved sysex configuration back onto my megadrum using midiox, do I just load the dump and send it back to megadrum without doing anything with my megadrum as far as recieving the sysex?

Yes, just send it back to MegaDrum but why not to use MCT for this?

I'm new to mct and curiousity is getting the best of me, I like to figure out all ways that this can be done. Thanks for your help, I'm wondering what the main advantage of the inputspriority is?

Dmitri, did you notice if you try to change the edge gain on the yamaha cymbals to anything other than 4 it will not send aftertouch messages? I used to have my edge gain at 2 this is not possible anymore.
