Midi notes do not match whats played

Postby ddropski » Tue Jun 08, 2021 7:26 am

Hi everyone,
is it normal for the Raw midi to not match what's played?

the numbers are off for all of my drums

here is an example I am using G0/ G#0 /A0/ A#0 / B0 / C1

but the Raw Midi Data is showing me notes around G2 and G#2 and a few others I can't get to trigger right now to tell you but the point is they are way way off how can I fix this

I tried the octave shift but that did not fix the problem I even tried disabling all drums and trying just a single tom head so basically only 1 pizeo trigger so that rules out any type of crosstalk and that was not correct either. it's very confusing when I try to determine what's triggering

Octave Shift only affects Notes octaves in MegaDrum itself (LCD Menu). Notes octaves in MDMFX are hardcoded at present. You are the first one to raise it as a problem.

Happy Friday Dropski!

What drum software are you using? If it has midi learn, click it for the drum you want to assign, hit the drum pad, and you're then matched up. No need to do all that work!!
