The Digital Board includes USB so any version will do USB.

Hello!

I have no knowledge in electronics, so it may be a silly question...

I was looking the input sockets schematics and I got confused about HH pedal jack's wiring.

Should I wire both 2-1 and 2-3, or choose wiring 2-1 or 2-3?

Sorry by bad english!

SW1 is a switch to select High or Low impedance HiHat pedal input to better match impedance of a pedal.

Hi Dmitri,

I’m brazilian and I built a megadrum 32 last week, but I didn’t see that I need new protected bootloader and firmware encrypted to megadrum works. Then, can I find de older bootloader and the last firmware unencrypted in the forum for my megadrum works?

Sorry for my bad English.

Tks.

hi! im new with diy.. it my 1st time trying since i really want to build this beast. i have no knowledge in schematics that's why im studying through the net for a week now just to gain a few understanding of building the megadrum.. now i think i can start building my own megadrum but i just wanted to ask some things before i begin with this project.

1st. i wanted to use 4851's so i wont have to use the BATs. i read in this thread that i can still use the analogue pcb (just remove the BATs and replace input protection resistors with jumpers)
Q: what resistors should i replace? Are they R2,R6,R10 and R14?

2nd. I really don't know where to use the IC sockets (are they suppose to be connected to the pins of the IC's?), PINS array 36x1 and cable mounting sockets?

sorry for a very newbie questions i just wanted to clarify this things so everything will go smoothly when i actually start building my own megadrum.

please be easy on me.. :D
Thanks..
