You said "I will especially try the PCY 150 Settings" and then showed screenshots from the Snare input so I naturally presumed you're trying to configure PCY-150s on the Snare jack. Be more specific, i.e. what pad/cymbal you're trying to use and in which jack.

You ask me to do everything on the module itself, isnt it ?

Yes, just as the guide says.

Threshold and BTreshold is the parameter you can find it MDM as well, no ?

Yes. I'm trying to exclude any variables, in this case MDM. You might have miscommunication between MDM and MegaDrum or forget to send settings to MegaDrum once you've set them in MDM or it may be something else. The fewer variables the easier it is to troubleshoot.

I just come back from the studio.

So, I followed the exact procedure you suggest and I still get one zone working.
Threshold is 32, and Bthreshold 12.

I guess that the "set all bells" and "set all edges" procedure dont work. I dont understand what this action is supposed to do in the Megadrum Brain ?

I hope that I miss something, 'cause I really want it to work !!

Ok, just get your message.

The right now post, I only plugget the ride. But the illustrated post, I plugged both ride and snare.

Also, when I learned to use MDM and the module, I did some tests to see if communication between them was good; and it is.
When I set a parameter in MDM and send it, the module get the parameter.

Lower Threshold on the rim/edge input by 1 and hit the head/bow. Repeat this until you get only the head/bow note. What Threshold did you end up with?

It tries to adjust Threshold and BThreshold automatically.

This Threshold is to 32 as well. The weird thing is that when is set up the ride as single piezo, MDM watched Head strike (Blue !) for head strike. And with the "Yamaha 3 way" procedure, it watched Rim strike for all zones, plus Choke on off message.

Now, as you asked me, I did't used MDM. So, I did the procedure using Superior drummer to check what happened; and before and after the procedure, I only get Head/Bow note sent.

So what is the Threshold and BThreshold now, after you followed the procedure?

It's getting very late so I'll continue to help you tomorrow. Before that I strongly suggest you to read about Threshold, BThreshold and DBNote in http://www.megadrum.info/content/pads-settings

I will check all this tomorrow, and do other experiments with things I understood today.
And so, I will give you the results.

Now I have to go.

Good night

Hi dmitri.

I tried again with my PCY 150s. Only the ride jack plugged, and only driven by the module.

Ride Bow threshold : 14
Ride Edge Threshold : 37
Ride B Threshold : 12

After the "set all Bow/Edge" Procedure, I get this :

Ride edge thresh : 24
Ride B Thresh : 5

But in the same time, I only get the bow to send a note, or actually, superior drummer gives only the Bow Sound.

So, here I open MDM to get midi activity.

And so I can see unknow hit (yellow) on all zones, and Choke on X2 Choke off X2 message.
When I lower Edge threshold to 0, I dont get choke message anymore.

I dont understand what it means. You ??

Thanks
