But today, when I powered on my Megadrum I got this "Note Off First" problem. But I had not changed anything! Then, I moved Megadrum to another PC, but still I had the same issue... What I did, was to flash the latest 20110706 firmware and the problem disappeared... Moreover, I noticed that after the update (reflash since I was already on 20110706) MaxInputs was set to 32 (which was my choice) and not 18 which is the default value. Is that ok?
I didn't use Midi-Ox but MDManager.

If you load the same firmware version, MegaDrum will keep and use your saved settings.

The problem is back... Dmitri, since this problem affects only midi over usb and not Megadrum's midi out port, do you think that using Megadrum's midi out through a cheap Midi to USB adapter like http://cgi.ebay.com/MIDI-USB-Cable-Conv ... 4151e8d394 could solve the problem?

I really don't know without tracking down the cause. If you give me exact steps to re-produce the problem I will try to re-produce it myself.

Thank you very much. I hate bothering you all the time with this and that...
Synthex pcb v2.5 with pull down resistor
Latest firmware
MaxIputs=32
Hihat pedal with hall effect sensor
HiHat low level = 300
High level = 380
Midi speed = USB+Midi
Autoload Conf = Yes/No (tried both)
Alt Encoders = Yes
All other options are left at defaults.

PCs tested:
Windows 7
Windows XP
Tomorrow I will try it on Linux.

I've finally managed to reproduce the problem using a USB hub. It seems the likelihood of catching the problem depended on the USB port power variation and in turn on Atmega/PIC start up sequence. I believe I fixed the problem in the latest, 20110716, firmware version.

It doesn't work for me... I tried all my USB ports, MIDI-OX, MDManager's raw midi monitor... It seems I have to buy a different midi to usb adapter and then use Megadrum's midi out port.

Can you make a video showing the problem with the latest firmware version?
