thanks for the answer. Now i have to understand if my pad is really too hot or there is another issue. Based on the parameters above, what do you think? What highlvl value and gain did you set for your pintech pad ? I have good dynamics with the settings i said before, but almost no PS. Any advice?

thanks again

Setting highlvl on auto should show if you pad is hot.

Don't worry, nobody does.

Updated the firmware in the first post (zip file name is the same as previous because of my mistake). Improved accuracy when Positional set to 3.

I've released a new official firmware version with positional sensing included. See Positional/PositionalLow/PositionalHi descriptions in http://www.megadrum.info/content/miscelenous-settings.

I've tried the new firmware with positional sensing enabled. I can get it to work with low and medium velocity hits. The pointer moves from center to rim and SD2.0 plays the articulations correctly...but.........At higher velocities the separation between center and edge isnt so defined. I get lots of edge hit in the center zone..

I've tried all combinations of settings but still no better. I tightened the mesh head and it improved a little bit..I have a roland style meshhead diy pad.

My min scan on snare is set at 40 for all ps settings.

Any ideas?

1. Did you use a precision rectifier?
2. What size of the pad?
3. Did you try different MinScan (10-40)?

And also what values do you get with Positional set to 2 and 3 for low, medium and hard hits?
