All firmware files in the archive after version 20110410 have the following naming scheme:
megadrumppp_nn_yyyymmdd.bin
where
ppp - MCU type. STM32a - for STM32F103RBT6, STM32b - for STM32F103RCT6, STM32d - for STM32F205RCT6, STM32e - for STM32F205LITE, 644 - for Atmega644, 1284 - for Atmega1284
nn - Maximum number of inputs for the firmware.
yyyymmdd - date(version) of the firmware.

I have an ARM based 32 input unit bought in 2011 but no clue what "PPP - MCU type" would be on mine. How would I figure this out?
Also, can the firmware still be upgraded using MDMFX?

It was actually 2013 and the MCU is STM32F103RCT6 so ppp is STM32b.

Good records! Thanks. How about updating via mdmfx -- will that work?

Yes, it should. If it goes wrong for any reason, use viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1252 to recover.

I would also like to know what is the current situation with MegaDrum and MTC. The thing is, I've got problems with recording long drum sessions with MegaDrum. The strange part is that when I play, all notes are in time, however when I'm playing and recording in Nuendo, the resulting recording offset is huge (on the order of 250-1000 ms) and what's worse even this offset is not consistent and it changes over time.

Those problems have nothing whatsoever to do with Megadrum.

Hello

I have been trying to get in touch with Dmitri via the 3 email addresses https://www.megadrum.info/contacts.php but all are being returned as "Failed to process account credentials."

So just wondering if anyone on this forum can help

I have installed the MD Manager and started to look at how to configure but first of all I need to update the firmware.

Could you let me know which of the 7 x 20200331 bin files I need to use to update the current firmware
Current configuration indicated in MD Manager:
* FW version: 20180628
* MCU: STM32F205RCT6

Files in latest FW version 20200331
1. megadrum644_48_20200331
2. megadrum1284_56_20200331
3. megadrumSTM32a_56_20200331
4. megadrumSTM32b_56_20200331
5. megadrumSTM32c_56_20200331
6. megadrumSTM32d_56_20200331
7. megadrumSTM32e_56_20200331

Thanks in anticipation
Kevin

As per the first post:
dmitri wrote:megadrumppp_nn_yyyymmdd.bin
where
ppp - MCU type. STM32a - for STM32F103RBT6, STM32b - for STM32F103RCT6, STM32d - for STM32F205RCT6, STM32e - for STM32F205LITE, 644 - for Atmega644, 1284 - for Atmega1284
nn - Maximum number of inputs for the firmware.
yyyymmdd - date(version) of the firmware.

so megadrumSTM32d_56_20200331

Thanks @dmitri
Any reason why the email addresses don't seem to be working, please?

I am getting a MegaDrum is not responding message when I start the FW upgrade.
Is this something to do with needing something to do with the bootloader?
