It's for all MegaDrum versions with the protected bootloader, including Atmega644.

I have a problem to update the firmware, I have an atmega 644 with the 2014 firmware, I bought it from Dimitri, I follow the steps to update but when I connect the MD to the PC with the left button pressed it does not enter protection mode .... does not blink the led mode remains in megadrum Dimitri, I had it pressed for 1 minute and it does not enter, the left button goes, I tried it, the MD turns on when I connect the USB,
The megadrum manager FX gives me error, the old manager magadrum gives me good. But it gives me the firmware in red, should I update it with this ??

I already solved it, the left button was wrongly connected, it was in the top position.
I have another problem with the MD, the PC detects it perfect, the drivers were installed perfect, the MD world LED detects me the activity mode, but the MDM gives MIDI init error. I already control the Pic's voltages as explained in a Dimitri entry, I changed the firmware of the Pic for the alternative with the 33k resistor to ground, and I continue with the MIDI init error in MDM, in the ports I put USB megadrum in input and output. .. I still have to try something, I think they are setting something wrong, but I can not find out ...

Had something similar. I checked the box "Sysex only on MIDI2" and after that couldn't get a connection, either on the normal midi port nor on MIDI2. After reversing this setting on the MD itself, its fine. Didn't do any further investigation. How have you set this?

Hi Eric, thanks.
I did what you say and it stays the same.
I connect the MD to the PC, I turn it on, I start the MDM, I go to options and I choose in the USB megadrum input and in the USB megadrum output, when I give in ok I get 2 windows in one I get an error when opening the port megadrum USB input and in the ptra I get error when opening port megadrum USB output, although I check sysex gives me midi init error in pink.
I measured the voltages of the usb connector and on the negative data pins it gives me 2.84 volts constant, on the positive data pin it gives me 200 millivolts constant, is this correct?

Do you get any MIDI data from MegaDrum?
If not, then you may have a crystal with incorrect frequency.
If yes, then you may have a connectivity problem on the board from PIC to Atmega, i.e. MIDI data are not passed from PIC to Atmega.
