32 inputs MegaDrum module for sale

If, for any reason, you cannot build a MegaDrum module yourself, I can build a module for you.
It takes less than a week for me to build and send a module.

Updated on 09/04/2015: Replaced a 2.2" color LCD option with a 2.4" color LCD option.
Updated on 25/09/2015: Introduced a model in a full aluminium case and reduced the price for the model in an ABS case.
Updated on 06/10/2014: Introduced a new ARM version based on STM32F205RCT6. It runs at 120MHz compared to 72MHz for the older STM32F103RCT6 version.

The ARM STM32F205RCT6 based 32 inputs module with built-in extended EEPROM in a full aluminium case shown here is 175GBP (British Pounds) plus shipping. Shipping to the UK - £12, to EU - £17, to the US and almost to any other country - £24.

[s]The ARM STM32F205RCT6 based 32 inputs module with built-in extended EEPROM in an ABS case shown here is 165GBP plus shipping. Shipping to the UK - £12, to EU - £17, to the US and almost to any other country - £23.[/s]

With an optional 1.8" colour 160x128 LCD (as seen in https://youtu.be/7tY2F42GBIY ) included it will cost 5GBP more.
With an optional 2.2" colour 320x240 LCD (as seen in https://youtu.be/pMp64BEYICM ) included it will cost 10GBP more.
With an optional 2.4" colour 320x240 LCD included it will cost 10GBP more.
The colour LCD options are possible only for aluminium cases.

With an optional Positional Sensing addon board included it will cost 25GBP more. See http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtop ... f=3&t=2052 for details about the Positional Sensing addon board.

For warranty conditions see http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtop ... f=3&t=1669

Hello,

is USB port only for the megadrum software to adjust the settings or is the USB a "USB Midi Interface" so i don´t need to use the midi connectors?

Thanks hopo

USB is for MIDI over USB as well. You don't need standard MIDI ports if are going to use it only with a PC.

hi dimitri..
i have some questions about your product.
this product is the main module. but how will i build the parts which triggers the soound i mean what electronic parts will i put together to make it trigger one sound?

why i am asking this is;

i am a drum teacher in Istanbul /Turkey

and i am planning to teach my students how to build their own practice drums and which they will practice my homeworks..

anyway we will talk about this. deeply..

please inform me for details..

You will need to either build DIY electronic drum pads or buy electronic drum pads available from shops.

Hi Dimitri,

first of all, thanks for all the great work you're investing in the MD, it's a pleasure to see someone fighting against the ridiculous prices of the big company's drum modules :D

Anyway, i want to have a MD too, but have two questions regarding the 32 inputs module before ordering:

1. Is the module expandable to a 56 inputs version and how do the two versions differ?
As i can only guess in regards to the photos you've posted, is it only the 2nd pad connector not assembled,
or are the multiplexer missing too?

2. Is the modul's case material metal or plastic? Just wondering if i could mount it on Rolands standard-modul-adapter by using 4 screws on the bottom side without fearing to break the case...

Thanks in advance,
and keep up the great work ;)

It is not expandable. It has exact number of jacks required for 32 inputs and the main board misses not needed components.

It is made of plastic (ABS). If you need mounting screws you will need to drill holes in the bottom of the case for them.

A 56 input MegaDrum kit or a 56 inputs module, which is in a rack mount case, might be better options for you.
